Despite my ambitions of making EVERYTHING for my new baby while pregnant these past 8 months, this is the only project I've been able to actually finish: a newborn baby hat. Made out of 50% merino wool/50% silk yarn I won in a draw months and months ago, I think it's pretty darn cute (and as my fiance says looks a bit like a juicy breast)! With the cold winter and baby's arrival imminent, I feel like I've accomplished a solid, "motherly" task here.

handmade for baby
Despite my ambitions of making EVERYTHING for my new baby while pregnant these past 8 months, this is the only project I've been able to actually finish: a newborn baby hat.
